“XR Gloves, Haptics & Beyond” was one of the most interesting events that Antony Vitillo and I have organized among all the AWE Nite Florence (it was held on November 17th, 2022).
I admit that over the past few months, I being overwhelmed by the exuberance of what AI-powered softwares has allowed us to accomplish. AI has rapidly entered many sectors of culture (art and literature, just to mention those most involved by the changes) and has destabilized everyone.
So, it was necessary to follow how this wave was growing (and continues to grow)
This is the reason why I publish with a few weeks late the article with the video of one of the most interesting and most successful AWE Nite Florence of 2022. My apologize for this delay!!!

Guido Gioioso got his PhD in Robotics and Automation at the University of Siena and was visiting scientist at IIT and Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen.
Author of 20 peer-reviewed papers published on top scientific journals, books and conference proceedings, he focused his research activity on human-inspired robotic manipulation and haptics. Today he is one of the co-founders and Business Leader of WEART, a startup developing revolutionary wearable and portable haptic devices for VR/AR and augmented digital experiences.
