About – ARea6DoF
ARea6DoF is an online newspaper registered to the Italian Court, where we write articles about the different topics I’m concerned with. The goal of ARea6DoF is to create a bridge between Technology and the Mainstream.
6DOF means “6 Degrees of Freedom” and refers to the possibility of movement in three-dimensional space, in any permitted direction (up/down, right/left, forward/backward), translating and rotating on the three perpendicular axes.
The movement along these three axes is independent, both in the rotation and translation phases; it therefore assumes Six Degrees of Freedom.
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), Extended Reality (XR), 360 degree videos, accompany us towards a new possible “Spatial Dimension”, in which the 6 Degrees of Freedom become an infinite number.
