“Digital and Virtual Events” the video of the event
Live from Rome, one of the most exciting events of AWE Nite Florence took place on 15 October 2021.
Live guests of the VRE-Fest, AWE Nite Florence created a connection between America, France and Italy, mixing the presence with the digital event.

“(…) The VRE Virtual Realty Experience Festival, the first Italian Festival entirely dedicated to the world of immersive technologies (VR – Virtual Reality, AR – Augmented Reality, MR – Mixed Reality) and their use and impact in the arts, culture, in the enhancement of cultural heritage, in science and medicine, in learning and in industry, is an event that has been taking place for three years in Rome and this year was one of the first events to take place in a mix of presence and online events, after so many months, with the contribution of RAI CINEMA CHANNEL.
A great success with the public, with a massive turnout in the three days of the festival (14 – 16 October) in the spaces of the Pelanda del Mattatoio thanks to the collaboration with Romaeuropa Festival, VRE continues until 30 October, with free access to the twenty works in competition on the VeeR VR and HTC VIVEPORT platforms. Cecilia is also an artist, photographer, videomaker, community manager and International Journalist. She is the organizer of AWE Nite Florence and she is the Italian Representative for Artivive.
Cecilia is a member of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AIxIA is a member of the EurAI/ECCAI) which includes professionals from the most important research institutions and Italian universities.
Cecilia created a project called “Flying Into The Metaverse Through Books & Culture”, which is a series of interviews with the most important professionals in the XR field and manages an online Journal called ARea6DoF, registered to the Italian Court, where she writes the articles about the different topics she is concerned with.
